Based on one of my grandmother's most complex quilts, this collagraph print follows the colours and textures of the fabrics my grandmother used in the quilt exactly as she laid it out and sewed it together. Most of her quilts are composed of simple geometric stripes, but this one follows a much more intricate, but non-symmetrical pattern of small squares. I like to think of it as a quilt she worked on during the long Cape Breton winters, but who knows ….
Perfect as a unique gift for the quilt lovers/makers in your life, be they grandmothers, mothers, aunts, sisters, daughters, nieces, granddaughters or any of those quilt loving men out there.
